When MOVE ends at 9pm, Joytown Grand Electric Theatre will bring you KEEP ON MOVIN’. A one off club night headlined by one of our favourite DJs in the world and one of London’s most influential, inimitable and down right irresistible selectors, Mr Bill Brewster. Also on hand is a fantastic supporting cast of Glasgow’s finest, Rebecca Vasmant and Pistols at Dawn.
And since it’s the film festival, the DJs will be sneaking in some music from their most favourite film soundtracks!
The Line-Up
A record collector for the last 30 years and a man so in love with dance music that in the last decade he has written four iconic, best selling books on the subject as well as countless media articles in every newspaper and music magazine worth it’s salt. All this in between DJing across the world, running his own much loved Lowlife warehouse parties in New York and London, being an original Fabric resident DJ, and editing, Mixmag.
The bold RV. A top lady and top DJ who is now making her name known across Europe. Just as at home playing her beloved jazz records as she is playing disco, house and techno. Eclectic in every sense which is just the way we like it
Pistols have been throwing their infamous basement soirees in Glasgow since 2012 as well as guesting at some of the cities finest club nights. Expect everything from Kate Bush to Underground Resistance and above all, prepare to dance.
