Inside Glasgow’s most exciting new venue!

The Joytown Grand Electric Theatre is located in the iconic Chinatown complex just two minutes walk from Cowcaddens subway station. The former Reardon’s snooker hall has been given a new lease of life as a multi content, pop-up events space offering live music, club nights, comedy and arts exhibitions.

The name comes from an entertainment venue which stood on the same site a century ago offering a circus, theatre, early cinema and even Scotland’s first zoo, which was also home the circus events that starred Sir Roger, the much loved elephant who has greeted visitors to Kelvingrove museum for over 100 years.

Joytown is equipped with a marvellously fully stacked bar, but remember that it’s cash only!
